Installation Information
Insert the hose tail fully into a compatible flexible hose and secure using appropriately sized hose clamps. Ensure the hose and clamps are suitable for the operating pressure and application.
To connect the camlock adaptor, insert the male camlock plug into a compatible female camlock coupling of the same nominal size. Close both cam arms on the female coupling evenly to secure the connection.
Type E camlock adaptors are designed to connect with compatible female camlock couplings of the same nominal size. Ensure the coupling gasket, hose and hose clamps are suitable for the operating pressure, temperature and fluid being transferred.
The maximum working pressure of the complete assembly is determined by its lowest-rated component. Always depressurise the system before connecting or disconnecting camlock fittings.
