Installation Information
The female BSPP threaded connection is designed for installation onto compatible male BSP threaded fittings. Use an appropriate sealing arrangement suitable for the thread type, operating pressure and application.
To connect the camlock coupling, insert a compatible male camlock adaptor into the female coupler and close both cam arms evenly to secure the connection. Ensure the coupling gasket is correctly positioned and in good condition before use.
Type D camlock couplings are designed to connect with compatible male camlock adaptors of the same nominal size. Ensure the coupling gasket, threaded connection and all associated components are suitable for the operating pressure, temperature and fluid being transferred.
Always depressurise the system before connecting or disconnecting camlock fittings. Camlock couplings should not be disconnected while under pressure.
