BSP thread sizes are nominal and do not represent the actual physical diameter of the thread. The table below provides standard BSP thread major diameters in millimetres to assist with identifying the correct fitting size.

Important: The dimensions shown are standard BSP thread major diameters and are provided for reference. For female threaded fittings, these values correspond to the nominal major diameter of the matching male thread, not the internal bore measurement of the elbow.
Installation Information
Ensure all mating threads are compatible, clean and correctly aligned before installation. Use a suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape where appropriate for the thread type and application.
The 45° design provides a gradual change in pipework direction compared with a 90° elbow, making it suitable for installations where a less abrupt directional change is preferred.
Please Note: Class 150 is a fitting pressure classification and does not mean a fixed maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. Actual working pressure depends on the fitting specification, operating temperature and application. Always confirm the manufacturer's pressure rating before installation.
