Stainless Steel Barrel Nipples BSP – 316 Grade
Our 316 Stainless Steel Barrel Nipples are designed to connect two female BSP threaded fittings or pipe connections. Manufactured from high-quality 316 grade stainless steel, these fittings provide excellent corrosion resistance, strength and durability for industrial, agricultural and commercial pipework applications.
Featuring male BSP threads at both ends, stainless steel barrel nipples provide a straight connection between compatible female threaded components. Their extended tubular design makes them particularly useful where additional connection length is required compared with a standard hexagonal nipple.
The 316 stainless steel construction offers excellent resistance to corrosion, making these barrel nipples suitable for water distribution, irrigation, pumping systems and a wide range of industrial fluid transfer applications.

BSP Thread Dimension Guide
BSP thread sizes are nominal and do not represent the actual physical diameter of the thread. The table below provides standard BSP thread major diameters in millimetres to help identify the correct barrel nipple size.

Important: The dimensions shown are standard BSP thread major diameters and are provided for reference. BSP thread sizes are nominal, meaning a 1" BSP barrel nipple does not have an outside thread diameter of 25.4 mm. Actual measurements may vary depending on the thread form and manufacturing tolerances.
Installation Information
Ensure both female threaded connections are compatible with the barrel nipple before installation. Threads should be clean, correctly aligned and free from damage.
Use a suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape where appropriate for the thread type and application. Avoid overtightening, as excessive force may damage the threads or connected fittings.
