Our PVC Socket x Female BSP Adaptors provide a secure and reliable connection between imperial PVC pressure pipe and male BSP threaded fittings, valves and equipment. Manufactured from durable PVC-U, these adaptors feature an imperial solvent weld socket at one end and a female BSP threaded connection at the other.
Ideal for water distribution, irrigation, swimming pools and industrial pipework, these fittings offer excellent corrosion resistance and a practical solution for transitioning between solvent weld PVC pipework and threaded components.

Important: Imperial PVC pipe sizes are nominal and do not represent the actual outside diameter. For example, 2" imperial PVC pipe measures 60.3 mm externally, not 50.8 mm. BSP thread dimensions and imperial pipe outside diameters are different measurements and are not interchangeable. The BSP dimensions shown are nominal external thread major diameters, not the internal bore measurements of the female adaptor.

Installation Information
The socket connection is designed for solvent welding to compatible imperial PVC pressure pipe using a suitable PVC solvent cement and cleaner. Ensure both surfaces are clean and properly prepared before assembly.
The female BSP threaded connection allows the adaptor to connect to a compatible male BSP fitting. Use an appropriate thread sealing method and avoid overtightening, as excessive force can damage plastic threaded fittings.
Please Note: Ensure the correct imperial pipe size and BSP thread type are selected before installation. Check the manufacturer's pressure rating and temperature limitations for the specific fitting.
