PVC Reducing Bush Plain Inch

Our Imperial PVC Reducing Bushes are manufactured from high-quality PVC-U and designed to reduce the connection size of imperial PVC pressure pipe fittings. Featuring a plain solvent weld connection, these reducing bushes provide a secure, compact and reliable solution for connecting different pipe sizes.

Suitable for a wide range of applications, including water treatment, swimming pools, irrigation, industrial pipework and potable water systems. The fittings are WRAS approved for use with drinking water.

Approvals & Standards

Imperial solvent weld PVC fittings are generally manufactured in accordance with EN 1452-3.

Threaded PVC fittings are generally manufactured in accordance with BS 21, DIN 2999 and ISO 7.

All fittings are WRAS approved and suitable for potable drinking water applications.

Pressure Rating

PVC solvent weld fittings in sizes 1/2" to 8" have a maximum working pressure rating of 15 bar (215 psi) at 20°C.

Note: Maximum operating pressure may reduce at elevated temperatures. Always ensure the fitting is suitable for the intended application.

Installation

For a secure and permanent connection, imperial PVC reducing bushes should be installed using a suitable PVC solvent cement and cleaner. Ensure all mating surfaces are clean, dry and correctly prepared before assembly.
