PVC Elbow 90° Plain x Thread – Imperial
Our PVC 90° Plain x Thread Elbows provide a reliable 90-degree connection between imperial PVC pressure pipe and threaded fittings or equipment. Manufactured from durable PVC-U (Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride), these elbows feature a plain solvent weld socket at one end and a threaded connection at the other.
Ideal for irrigation, swimming pools, water treatment and industrial pipework, these fittings allow pipework to change direction while transitioning between solvent weld and threaded connections. PVC-U construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in compatible water systems.

Important: Imperial PVC pipe sizes are nominal and do not represent the actual outside diameter. For example, 2" imperial PVC pipe measures 60.3 mm externally, not 50.8 mm. BSP thread dimensions and imperial pipe outside diameters are different measurements and are not interchangeable.

Installation Information
The plain socket connection is designed for solvent welding to compatible imperial PVC pressure pipe using suitable PVC solvent cement and cleaner. Ensure all joining surfaces are clean, dry and correctly prepared before assembly.
The threaded connection allows the elbow to be joined to a compatible BSP fitting. Use a suitable thread sealing method where required and avoid overtightening plastic threaded connections.
Please Note: Confirm the BSP thread type and connection gender before installation. Always check the manufacturer's pressure and temperature ratings for the specific fitting.
