Imperial PVC Equal Tee 90° Branch
The Imperial PVC Equal Tee 90° Branch is designed to create a 90-degree branch from a straight run of imperial PVC pipe. All three socket connections are the same size, allowing equal-sized pipework to be joined securely using PVC solvent cement. Once bonded, the fitting forms a permanent, pressure-tight connection suitable for a wide range of water and industrial applications.
Manufactured from high-quality rigid PVC, these equal tees provide excellent resistance to corrosion, scale and many chemicals, making them ideal for irrigation systems, water treatment plants, swimming pools, aquaculture and industrial process pipework.
Imperial PVC Pipe Dimensions
Imperial solvent weld PVC fittings are sized by their nominal bore (NB). Each socket is manufactured to suit the outside diameter of the corresponding imperial PVC pipe.

Pressure Rating
- Solvent weld fittings: 15 bar (215 psi) at 20°C.
- Threaded fittings: 12 bar (170 psi) at 20°C.
- Pressure ratings reduce as operating temperatures increase.
- Maximum recommended operating temperature: 60°C.
Installation
For a reliable, long-lasting joint, clean the pipe and fitting thoroughly before applying a suitable PVC solvent cement. Insert the pipe fully into each socket with a slight twisting motion and allow the adhesive to cure fully before pressurising the system.
