Double Union Ball Valves Plain x BSP
Description
Double union plain x female BSP ball valves. These PVC ball valves have excellent corrosion-resistant characteristics and can be dismantled for maintenance and inspection purposes.
Pressure Rating
PVC ball valves up to 50mm (1 1/2") have a pressure rating of 15 bar (215 psi) at 20oC.
63mm to 110mm (2" to 4") t0 110mm PVC ball valves have a pressure rating of 10 bar (159 psi) at 20oC.
As temperature increases the pressure rating is reduced. PVC systems should not be used where temperatures exceed 60oC.
Sizing - Solvent Weld Pipe & Fittings
Metric PVC pipe is straightforward and is sized by its outside diameter. For example 32mm and 63mm pipes will have outside diameters of 32mm and 63mm respectively.
The inside diameter of the socket end of metric valves and fittings will be the same as the outside diameter of the corresponding pipe.
