Description
HDPE Spigot Tee 45° SDR11 PE100
The HDPE 45° Spigot Tee SDR11 is manufactured from high-quality PE100 polyethylene and designed to create a 45-degree branch connection within pressurised HDPE pipeline systems. Unlike conventional 90-degree tees, the angled branch provides a more gradual change in flow direction, making it suitable for water distribution, agricultural irrigation and industrial pipework installations.
Manufactured to an SDR11 specification with a PN16 pressure rating for water applications, this HDPE 45° tee offers excellent strength, durability and corrosion resistance. The spigot ends are designed for butt fusion or electrofusion welding, providing a secure, permanent connection to compatible polyethylene pipework.

Applications & Benefits
The 45-degree branch configuration allows pipework to be diverted at a shallower angle than a standard 90-degree tee. This can help reduce turbulence and localised pressure losses where the branch direction is aligned with the flow.
These fittings are particularly suitable for agricultural irrigation networks, water distribution mains, pumping systems and industrial HDPE pipelines where a durable angled branch connection is required.
Installation & Compatibility
HDPE SDR11 45° spigot tees can be installed using compatible butt fusion or electrofusion welding equipment. All three spigot ends are designed to connect to suitable PE pipework, creating permanent welded joints.
For electrofusion installations, use appropriately sized EF Couplers to connect the tee to compatible HDPE pipes.

Important: Confirm that the pipe and fitting materials, SDR ratings and pressure classifications are compatible before installation. Always follow the manufacturer's recommended welding procedures, pipe preparation requirements and cooling times.
